As members everyone of us are instrumental in introducing others to our sport and assisting them with the basics of radio controlled flight while encouraging them to become members of our group to make it all it could become. When we see a new face on the field or at a meeting take a few minutes to introduce yourself and make them feel welcome. Offer assistance where it is needed. Keep your meetings fun and friendly. Get out and volunteer in helping with events and maintaining our field. In the long haul we all benefit with the results of a well groomed flying field and friendly faces. The visual portion of our club is our field, newsletter and website. No single person can produce an interesting newsletter month after month or an interesting website without input from its members. If you have news relating to the hobby in general, our club or its members please take the time to submit that information to our newsletter editor or webmaster. Meetings are a place where work gets done, ideas grow and friendships are made. Help make our meetings fun and interesting by bringing items of interest or treats and snacks or other refreshments. Bring in your latest project and share it with all of us. Bring a friend that might be interested in our hobby. Make our meetings the kind of meetings that bring its members back time after time and generates interest to others interested in our hobby. This is our hobby and it should be first of all fun for all Practice it and we will succeed. |
